Fall 2025

Peeping upstate leaves and sheep, bff, train time, rampant knitwear, city views from across and above

Dark gray, moody view of New York City in the clouds from the World Trade Center observatory, behind two people in shadow
Partial view of New York City from Governors Island, with grass and a picnic table to the left and the East River to the right
A white woman in her mid-30s with shoulder-length brown hair, a blue jacket, and a golden sweater, smiles at a person not in the frame. She is in a gallery, and part of a painting is seen behind her and to the left. A photographer and another visitor are somewhat blurry in the background.
Sun on a sweater being knit, on a Metro North train
A field with autumnal leaves at golden hour.
A white woman in her mid-30s with a wavy bob smiles at the camera. She is wearing a light long-sleeve shirt and knit sparkly brown vest with blue jeans. She is seated on a wooden porch with yellow leaves in the background.
Sheep-shearing demonstration, with a very curly white sheep centered in the photo. Its handler is behind it to the left with large shears and appears to be talking. On the far left are onlookers.
A crowd of people coming up a paved hill at what appears to be an outdoor event or convention. (It's the New York Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck, NY.)
A hand, arm covered in a black sweater sleeve, reaches out to pet the curly forelock of a sheep in a pen. The sheep is cream with dense curls and a darker brown face with a light stripe across its nose.
A woman in her mid-30s with very short bleach blonde hair stands in a walkway leading to the Dutchess County Fairgrounds, as indicated by a sign on the entrance further back in the frame. She smiles at the camera, wearing a black knit vest with tattoos on one of her arms. Other people make their way into the fairgrounds behind her. There is a light leak on the right side of the photo.
A gray hairless cat in a light gray sweater lounges in a sunbeam, sitting on a chair. The contrast is very high, with light falling unevenly across the cat's face and giving her a particularly spooky look.
